Mr. Robert Huntsman of HuntsmanLG.com (Huntsman Law Group, PLLC) is a principal of the small law firm located in Boise,Idaho. Mr. Huntsman enjoys a clientele across the United States, having many clients he knows very well, yet has never met face-to-face. Mr. Huntsman and his clients typically communicate with each other, informally and regularly by email and cell phones.


Mr. Huntsman has a litigation practice that includes a Federal Court litigation practice, an Idaho State Court litigation practice, and a Public Interest litigation practice. Mr. Huntsman is also a registered patent attorney, licensed to prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. A former Hewlett-Packard software engineer and an early adopter of the internet, Mr. Huntsman is one of the few patent attorneys with significant software development experience and a computer science degree.


Mr. Huntsman, the father of five children, lives with his family in Boise, Idaho.

Injury Practice

Mr. Huntsman primarily litigates intellectual property cases (patents, trademark, and copyright matters) in Federal Court throughout the United States. However, Mr. Huntsman has successfully litigated and/or negotiated very favorable settlements with a number of obnoxious insurance companies for personal injury matters, and, in two situations,wrongful deaths actions for his family, friends, and neighbors.


Mr. Huntsman is now expanding his "friends and family" injury practice to the public. Mr. Huntsman will only involve himself in an injury case if he thinks the case has merit and there is problematic insurance company involved that is either being obnoxious or stalling. Mr. Huntsman is a licensed attorney in Idaho and thus he brings in other firms for cases in other locales (at no additional expense to his clients), and interfaces with the associated firm on behalf of the client so that the client only has to interface with Mr. Huntsman (in accordance with the client's wishes.
